Reaching the Summit

With TouchPoint Summit quickly approaching, I’d love to share a personal, recent “summit” experience. Last month, I climbed Mt. Langley in Southern California with my son Caleb, one of my closest friends Tyler, and a few others. There are 74 peaks above 14k feet in the continental US. This particular climb was special because it was Tyler’s final climb -- his 74th of the 74. What made it more special was making the climb with my son -- his 1st

summit. Mt. Langley is one of the longest climbs at 22 miles. Overall, it was a 3-day journey, and we were able to enjoy camping out two nights at 12k-ft elevation. You may know the feeling of standing on the summit. It gives a new perspective, a meaningful sense of accomplishment, and a special bond with those who went on the journey with you.

Next month, our team will have the pleasure of going on a three-day journey with our church partners at TouchPoint Summit in Memphis -- reconnecting, learning, and fellowshipping. We hope you are able to join. Thank you for being on this journey with us.

We are grateful!
Psalm 121:1-2,

Tips & Tricks

You can track the success of your email campaigns on the Administration > Emails page. Click on the subject of any email to see who opened your email and how many times. Under the actions button at the top, you can select “view link tracking” to see how many times the links in your email were clicked.

Link Tracking

To make this magic work, make sure that the {track} and {tracklinks} replacement codes are in every email you send out.  We recommend putting these in the footers of your templates so your users don’t have to remember.  The replacement codes won’t modify the formatting of your email or be seen by any recipients.

Learn more about tracking emails here.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I married my high school sweetheart 12 years ago and we have 2 beautiful kids. Elizabeth is 8 and Luke is 6. They're growing too fast and if anyone has advice on slowing that down, I'll gladly listen. I'm a member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis TN, which helped create a ChMS called BVCMS which eventually became TouchPoint.

FAQ (Five Answered Quickly!)

  1. What are you reading and watching? I skipped the Lord of the Rings books when I was young, so I decided to go through and just finished Return of the King! They were incredible!
  2. Listening to any podcasts? My favorite comedian, Nate Bargatze, has a podcast called Nateland. If you like comedy, you'll love this! Let's GOOOO Folks!
  3. If you could, who would you spend a day with, living or dead? Tim Tebow. I feel like we could be friends.
  4. What’s your biggest achievement to date -- personal or professional? Marrying my high school sweetheart.
  5. What might someone be surprised to know about you? My dream is to one day publish a book. Let me know if you know a publisher!
